Foundation repair in Fort Worth: what 200 Google reviews say
We read 200 recent Google reviews of the ten most-reviewed foundation repair companies in the Fort Worth area, 20 per company. Here is what homeowners report. Each point names the company it came from.
Older and pier and beam homes
Fort Worth reviews mention old houses far more often than the other cities we cover. B&P reviewers describe a house built in 1908 and a pier and beam home a lender would not close on until it was repaired. Texas Pride leveled a 1958 house with 20 piers in a day. Brothers reviewers describe a 100-year-old house and a historic pier and beam home, and Urgent leveled both a 100-plus-year-old farmhouse and a 1970s mobile home. J.B. Quality replaced the foundation under a 100-year-old house.
If your house is pier and beam, ask whether the crew will replace wood shims with steel or concrete and whether they work in crawl spaces themselves.
How long the work takes
| Company | What reviewers reported |
|---|---|
| B&P | 22 piers in one day. Other jobs in an afternoon or two days. |
| Texas Pride | A whole house in about 8 hours. Two days for 7 outside and 3 inside piers. |
| Brothers | 14 piers in a day. Another job in 3 days. |
| Elevated | 20 to 26 piers in under 2 days. |
| Imperial | 1 day. 21 piers in 2 days. |
| G.L. Hunt | Two days of work finished in one. A stabilization job in 3 days. |
| Urgent | Just over a week for a full house lift with tunnels and about 25 steel piers. |
What reviewers say about price
Smaller Fort Worth firms come up again and again as the lower bid. A J.B. Quality reviewer says it came in thousands below six other bids. Elevated proposed 12 piers where others quoted 25 to 50, according to one reviewer. An Imperial reviewer had other quotes of $28,000 and $9,800 before choosing Imperial, and B&P reviewers say it cost less than the companies they saw advertised on TV.
A lower pier count is not automatically better, so compare the drawings as well as the totals. Our cost guide has typical ranges by repair type.
Buying or selling a house
Realtors write a lot of these reviews. Five of the Integrity reviews we read are from realtors, and Urgent, Elevated and Imperial reviewers describe fast inspections and paperwork to keep a sale on track. One B&P customer needed a repair letter before their lender would close.
An inspection is a snapshot. One Integrity reviewer says a clean inspection during their purchase was followed three months later by a second visit that found major problems. Integrity replied that its inspections are valid for 30 days, because foundations can move quickly.
The City of Fort Worth permit
The City of Fort Worth's residential remodel checklist, updated 27 May 2026, lists foundation repair and asks for two documents with the permit application:
- Engineered foundation plansDrawings showing the repair.
- Engineered structural letterA letter from the engineer about the structure.
Ask each contractor whether these are in the quote or extra.
Warranties differ more than you'd think
Most of these companies advertise lifetime warranties, but one Texas Pride reviewer mentions a 10-year warranty, so ask. Two Integrity reviewers say its inspector found an existing lifetime warranty from earlier work that saved them money. And one G.L. Hunt reviewer says 25 of 32 piers sank within a year and the company would stop warranting five piers if more work was done; G.L. Hunt replied that it is working toward a resolution.

- Tunnels or breakoutsInterior piers mean tunneling under the slab or cutting through floors. Ask which, and who patches it.
- Plumbing test before and afterAsk whether it is included, and ask for it before tunnels are filled in.
- Engineer and permitWho draws the engineer's plan the city needs, and who pays for it.
- Warranty termsWhether it transfers to a buyer, and whether a plumbing leak voids it.
- Your yardWhat happens to shrubs, sprinklers and patios near the piers.
